Room for more Lime Flowers

Click for Full Image
I've managed to delete all the crap mail in the mailbox on this site, total 17.8MB, but I'm going to move this blog all the same. Apart from the Lime Tree Diary which is staying put It's here

I've spent a lot of time in the last few days contemplating the Rosslyn music and its implications. I'm sure we are far from realising the full extent of this mystery, but it's lead me into a world that's new to me, that of vibration and its effects on form, 'Cymatics', I gather it's called. when you see the images of pattern that sound produces, the way various materials can be persuaded to compose themselves under the influence of sound, it makes you wonder all the more what happens to your brain if you sit all day in you car playing hip-hop.

More Stone Music

its difficult to believe that despite all the attention, there is still an almost complete lack of information about the 13 musicians carved at Rosslyn Chapel. I feel a project comong on.....

In the meantime, here's the sound of the bagpiper's music, carved in the stone cubes, as decoded by Tom Mitchell and arranged by his son Stuart.

summer is icummen in, just.

I think this is a twite, in the plum tree. It's quite possible that the linnet in the lime tree is not a linnet, but this twite. it now has a nest in the hedge, and seems to have stopped its evening concert.
